The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather people’s views on the European Union’s climate targets for 2040, setting a path to net-zero emissions by 2050.
In collaboration with the European Climate Pact and its Ambassador Sevim Aktas, as well as the Global Governance Institute, Level Up is organising an event with up to 50 participants to contribute to this public consultation process through our innovative participation model. The goal is to produce concrete policy recommendations for DG CLIMA in the framework of its public consultation on the EU’s climate target for 2040. This will provide valuable input for DG CLIMA’s ongoing activities and an incredible opportunity to engage with other interested folks, experts, stakeholders, and policy-makers. The event will help us refine our model before we present it to a jury in September 2023.
