Hien Truong is an intern at the Global Governance Institute, where his main focus is on strengthening Latin America and Caribbean countries’ participation in peace operations. In addition to this project, he also assists the “European Network on Teaching Excellence” on the future of higher education, as well as assists in GGI’s summer school on Global Peace, Security, and Strategic Studies. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Policy Studies at Syracuse University. After graduation, he plans to attend law school with a specialization in Immigration Law. Driven by a passion for social justice and nonprofit work, he actively advocates for marginalized communities and strives to foster a more inclusive society.
