Giulia Muià is carrying out an Erasmus+ funded traineeship at the Global Governance Institute, where she is working mainly on human rights protection and human trafficking, writing, at the same time, her master thesis on the western imposition of human rights. She previously obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Development and International Cooperation at the University of Bologna, Italy. She decided to continue her studies focusing particularly on the protection of human rights, attending the MA programme in International Cooperation and Protection of Human Rights at the University of Bologna. She is also interested in the field of grassroots politics, doing activism in different associations that deal with the influence of young people in institutions.
