Manon is a Non-Resident Fellow in the Peace and Security section. She holds a background in Commercial Economics and Communications and has a Masters in Development Studies and Diplomacy from the University for Peace. As an independent contractor, Manon has worked for 11+ years for various international companies and NGOs. Through her work with the Trustbuilding Program of the international NGO Initiatives of Change, Manon has worked with teams in 12 countries that aim to (re)build trust in their respective communities in which deep divides and conflicts exist. She is especially interested in the impacts of economic globalisation on peace and security, the role of polarisation in conflicts and peacebuilding, sustainable development, migration, and various issues at the intersection of peace, security, and justice.
