Gaia Pelosi is an Erasmus+ Trainee in the Peace and Security section. She is a recent graduate from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where she earned a Master’s degree in International Relations. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Sciences for International Relations from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
After completing an advanced course on migration studies, she gained practical experience at the Italian Ministry of the Interior’s territorial office, where she worked on migration-related issues. In the fall of 2023, she completed an internship at the Italian Embassy in the Netherlands, where she was involved in bilateral and multilateral affairs, as well as event moderation. Driven by a deep interest in global politics and conflict resolution studies, Gaia has been contributing to the think tank Orizzonti Politici since 2021, serving as Senior Analyst at the International Security Desk, focusing on research, analysis of global security trends and podcasting projects.
