Camilla Venturini obtained her Bachelor degree in Sociology from the University of Trento, Italy, and a one-year-Master’s in International Security from the University of Groningen, Netherlands. She is now enrolled in a Master's degree programme in International Relations, within a focus on Crime, Justice and Security at the University of Bologna, in Italy. She participated in two Erasmus+ study experiences in Germany and Czech Republic and carried out a remote traineeship with the German Marshall Fund of the United States’ office in Brussels. Currently, she is carrying out an Erasmus+ funded traineeship at the Global Governance Institute with the Peace & Security unit while writing her master thesis with a critical and bottom-up approach on peacebuilding. Her main foci in the traineeship are peacebuilding and protection of civilians in conflict areas, human trafficking and migration, and European approaches to teaching excellence.
