Alice Rossi

Global Environmental Governance

Alice Rossi is a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Environmental Governance section. She holds a Master's double degree. The MA in International Security Studies from Charles University allowed her to deepen traditional and innovative security domains. The MA in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz led her to gain skills in the field of policymaking and governance. She has multidisciplinary work experience in both public and private sectors.

Alice's primary research focuses are resilience to natural hazards, crisis management and civil protection. Previously, she obtained a scholarship for researching the interplay between science and policy in disaster risk reduction at the Risk and Crisis Research Centre in Sweden. She also worked as a trainee at the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations at the European Commission for the analysis and implementation of EU civil protection policy. After other positions as a research assistant, risk intelligence analyst, and consultant, she is currently working in civil protection at the local level.
