Alexandru Fotescu is a GGI Fellow in the Peace and Security section. His work focuses on leadership, strategy, and innovation, applied to statecraft, research and innovation ecosystems, and human capital development. With a multicultural experience across civic society / NGOs’ world, business, and institutional environments, his work is about transferring best practices and innovation across fields and domains of application. His academic background covers public and business administration, EU studies, and political science.
Alexandru Fotescu is also a Research Officer and Board Member at the International Association for Intelligence Education - European Chapter, a researcher with the Bundeswehr University in Hamburg, and a European Security and Defence College Doctoral Fellow. Previously, he worked as a consultant in strategic communication, EU/Transatlantic security, and geopolitics.
